During the 5 years of ban Mohammad Amir developed his cricket a lot and proved his performance many time during the domestic cricket session, domestic Haier Mobile cup T20 and especially during Bangladesh premier league. By seeing his performance selection team of Pakistan cricket board makes a decision for Mohammad Amir to include in practice camp at Lahore for New zealand tour.
It's seems like Pakistan cricket board has opened international cricket door for Mohammad Amir.
If we look at the history of Mohammad Amir when he played international cricket he was just 17 years old and his performance is outstanding and becomes more popular day by day but his greed to earn more put him in spot fixing case and International cricket council gives Mohammad Amir 5 years punishments which means he was no more able to play any kind of cricket for next 5 years from October 2010 to October 2015. With him at that time captain of Pakistan team Salman Butt and pacer Mohammad Asif are also included in spot fixing case.
If we look at the current scenario T20 cricket world cup is coming in March 2016 and Pakistan cricket board is facing lot of problems to find good fast bowling attack for mega event of T20 world cup and Mohammad Amir proved that he has lot of talent and he has lot of hope to play again International cricket again for Pakistan.
But if we see at the Board now board is testing Mohammad Amir in International cricket before going into the mega event of T20 world cup 2016 in march.
If in January during visit of Pakistan cricket team to New Zealand PCB want to test or giving a chance to Mohammad Amir to prove himself . In my point of view Mohammad Amir is fit and quite energetic among all current bowlers and if PCB gives him a chance then we all are hoping that he will not disappoint us again. Because in 5 years of ban Mohammad Amir has learn a lot and he will not go again in such kind of bad activities.
But i also say to PCB that if Mohammad Asif and Salman Butt also perform well in domestic cricket then PCB should also give them second chance to prove them they are still fit. i am saying this because lot of people want that Amir come back because he was child when he commit a crime but both of them are not child. My point of view is as all three of them has completed the ban period and accept their mistake so now they are clear and no need to ask them fixer
